Hey Ladies,

Thank you again for making yesterday's dinner special. Now looking forward to the rest of the week.

So Friday there are is an event from 12:30-1:10 with visiting high schoolers. Lunch will be provided! Ade said she could go but we need two other people to sign up as well. Let me know if you can come. 

Black in the day- I know we didn't talk about this at the meeting on Sunday but I meant to bring it up!! So we got the go to do Black in the Day this weekend after tribute. Now we need to just get a DJ and room. I will reach out to Mariam and see if she is available. If not we will have to brainstorm. I was thinking we could either ask Adrienne and her room mates if they want to host but if not maybe our Mather ladies would like to host the party. Is everyone down to do the party this week? or would we want to make Black in Day the after party for YardFest? 

Elections- Everyone make sure you are continuing to reach out to freshmen and sophomores about running for board! I hope that being on board has been a good experience for you this year and that you want to encourage people to have similar experiences. There is so many places BSA can improve and continue to support our community but that is only possible if we have a strong board.

lol let's go for Adrienne and her room first, because I have four papers due next week and a conference that launches next week, so I'm not planning on going and need to be sitting in my room to get this work done!  Which is not going to go very well if there's a party in our common room :P

Do we have a location for the event on Friday? I support Black in the Day this weekend. Just to add, Tribute will probably end around 11. So will start the party then? Or we will account for people who arent't going to Tribute/ non black community members and start at 10pm. But I guess we can't do the second option because that would be conflicting with BCL rules. 

Ummm, maybeeee we can host, after Adrienne says no of course lol. I just have to talk to my roommates.

 I have practice until 9:30 so I can get it but I would need someone to pick it up if I get it or someone else could just get it. Also, I'll be in Daytona next week so could someone also get the food next week?

I have Kuumba every Tuesday and Thursday until 10 in the Quad, so I would never be the one to rely on to get food lol.

Two thing- Ade and Crystal I am going to send you an email with details for tomorrow. Lunch is provided. Thank you for going!

Second- so I have the go ahead for Black in the day it will be in Adrienne's room in Quincy and Mariam is DJ. Did any one find out about Christian's party? Also I dont think it would be a bad thing to have both. If everyone is down to have the party lets make a pub! Jasmine it should say it starts from 11-2 since Tribute wont be over till 10. Crossing our fingers!
