WSSC Water has lifted the Boil Water Advisory (BWA) for customers in Cheverly, Seat Pleasant, Capitol Heights and Other Nearby Areas of Prince George’s County, Maryland following a water main break on a 16" pipe near the Cheverly Metro Station.  At this time, system pressure has been restored and only one customer, the Cheverly Metro Station, is impacted by the repair.  The precautionary Boil Water Advisory is lifted effective 12:45am following sampling and testing that indicates the water is safe for consumption. Customers and others no longer need to boil water before consuming but should follow instructions on what to do after a boil water advisory available at wsscwater.com/bwa
