Hello Ward 3!
Thank you to everyone who submitted testimony, attended the press conference, and stood outside in the cold during last night’s Hospital Hill Annexation Hearing in Bladensburg. We were very much hoping that Bladensburg would withdraw their attempt at annexation, but their mayor and council voted to proceed. We will be moving forward with legal action to try to block their attempt to annex the site. I will keep you updated with news as I have it.
On a happier note: thanks to everyone who has decorated their homes for the holidays. Cheverly is looking so festive! Being the Ward 3 representative is hardest this time of year, because EVERYONE knows that Ward 3 has the best decorations, and it is difficult to choose just a few to feature in the town email! So here is my expanded list of favorites.
