Vaheguroo jee ka khalsa
vaheguroo jee kee fateh!

I just wanted to post this astoundingly beautiful shabad and a few thoughts...

bilaaval mehlaa 5.
Bilaaval, Fifth Mehl:

pingul parbat paar paray khal chatur bakeetaa.
The cripple crosses over the mountain, the fool becomes a wise man,

anDhulay taribhavan soojhi-aa gur bhayt puneetaa. ||1||
and the blind man sees the three worlds, by meeting with the True Guru and being purified. ||1||

mahimaa saaDhoo sang kee sunhu mayray meetaa.
This is the Glory of the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy; listen, O my friends.

mail kho-ee kot agh haray nirmal bha-ay cheetaa. ||1|| rahaa-o.
Filth is washed away, millions of sins are dispelled, and the consciousness becomes immaculate and pure. ||1||Pause||

aisee bhagat govind kee keet hastee jeetaa.
Such is devotional worship of the Lord of the Universe, that the ant can overpower the elephant.

jo jo keeno aapno tis abhai daan deetaa. ||2||
Whoever the Lord makes His own, is blessed with the gift of fearlessness. ||2||

singh bilaa-ee ho-ay ga-i-o tarin mayr dikheetaa.
The lion becomes a cat, and the mountain looks like a blade of grass.

saram kartay dam aadh ka-o tay ganee Dhaneetaa. ||3||
Those who worked for half a shell, will be judged very wealthy. ||3||

kavan vadaa-ee kahi saka-o bay-ant guneetaa.
What glorious greatness of Yours can I describe, O Lord of infinite excellences?

kar kirpaa mohi naam dayh naanak dar sareetaa. ||4||7||37||
Please bless me with Your Mercy, and grant me Your Name; O Nanak, I am lost without the Blessed Vision of Your Darshan. ||4||7||37||

Dhan Dhan dhan dasaan patishahian dee jot, sab rajan ke rajaa, kajug ke bohit, dhan dhan shabad guroo Sree Guroo Granth Sahib Jee Maharaj!!

Wow, this shabad blew me away with tears when our ustaad jee did veechar on it, and it didnt fail to do so again when i read it in 'Say Khineya' recently...

Gurmukho, guroo ke piyario, here maharaj jee tells us that impossible is nothing (way before addidas copyrighted tht!) If the ant can defeat a elephant and a cripple can cross mountains with akaal purukhs kirpa, then how are the small challenges we face unconquerable??

a lot of us come from a past of doing anti-gurmat things, but maharaj made the impossible possible for us, he saved us, showed another way to live life, his anandful path of sikhi  

i know maharaj jee has shown a mega amount daya on daas and proved me wrong time and time again when ive doubted that certain things aren't possible. maybe its worth forgetting, just so maharaj jee can show his children again that nothing is out of his reach!  

so while we worry and ask for good grades in exams, a good job, nice family ..etc. etc., which are all relatively acheivable things if we work hard... instead Maharaj jee tells us what we really need to be askin for - his pavitar naam - in order to conqor what we seem to find unconqerable in this world - our mind

so lets have faith gurmukho, lets just let go and accept that every part of our existence is his hands, that he owns our heads, and that if we surrender oursleves completely to him, that he blesses us with this kirpa in the shabad above. He makes the impossible, possible, no laws of nature or science stand in the way of a gurmukh...read khalsa jeevan, or say khineya or any other pothee or sakhi about the life of a a puran bhram giyaanee and you will see its true guroo ke piyare...  

its hard gurmukho, but well worth the fight! And Guroo jee kirpa kare may we die fighting!!
