The Ephemeral Bootlegger invites you to participate in Montréal’s fifth Marché Noir!
The Marché Noir is a one night participatory art festival where everything goes on inside BOX TRUCKS!
How it works:
1. Invite some friends to do an installation together in a rental truck. Or do a solo project!
2. Make a plan, reserve your truck and gather your materials.
3. The teams (or individuals) spend as much time as they need building an installation on the inside. Only those creating installations will receive the address info.
4. On October 15 in the evening, we all drive to a secret location in the city and we have a party!
Anyone who contributes a box truck can invite a few friends, but generally participation is open to those who... participate!
What kind of things can you bring to Marché Noir? Roughly speaking, if it works as a Burning Man-style theme camp and fits in a truck, it will be great at Marché Noir!

(These events have happened regularly in San Francisco, Boston, and New York, but this is the only one in Canada.)
Marché Noir is a free event loosely organized on the Ten Principles of Burning Man. There’s no cost to participate, other than what you spend on your own truck.

Le Contrebandier Éphémère vous invite à participer au cinquième Marché Noir de Montréal!
Le Marché Noir est un festival d’art participatif d’une durée d’une nuit, et au cours duquel tout se déroule dans des BOÎTES DE CAMION.
Comment cela fonctionne :
1. Invitez quelques amis à faire une installation ensemble dans un camion. Ou faites un projet solo !
2. Réservez votre camion et rassemblez les matériaux.
3. Plusieurs équipes (ou individus) louent des camions-cubes et prennent tout le temps nécessaire pour y construire des installations.
4. Puis, le soir du 15 Octobre, les camions se rassemblent dans un lieu secret prédéterminé à Montréal et on fait le party! Tout contributeur d'un camion peut inviter quelques amis, mais en général la participation est limitée à ceux qui... participent!
Qu'est-ce qu'on peut apporter au Marché noir? Règle générale, si ça fonctionne comme un camp thématique de Burning Man et que ça rentre dans un camion, c'est parfait pour le Marché Noir! Ces marchés ont lieu régulièrement à New York, Boston, et San Francisco, mais celui de Montréal est le seul au Canada. Consultez le https://everyherelogistics.com pour vous inspirer d'autres Marchés.
Le Marché Noir est un événement gratuit organisé grosso modo selon les Dix Principes de Burning Man. Il n'y a aucun frais d'entrée, sauf ce que vous dépensez sur votre camion.
