I hope some of you will join me Friday December 9th at 18:30pm at Carre St-Louis for this fun little event I've wanted to do in Montreal for years.

Unsilent Night is a sort of parade/flash mob conceived by American composer Phil Kline where participants walk along a route together, carrying stereos each playing different parts of a musical composition. The effect is a constantly changing musical sculpture winding through the city streets.

I invite you to come to Carre St-Louis (across from Sherbrooke Metro station) equipped with a boombox, bluetooth speaker or even just your phone pre-loaded with one of the four musical tracks. Then we will all press play together and the parade begins. Costumes and blinky lights are encouraged, but not required.

The parade will walk down Prince Arthur to St-Laurent, North to Duluth Avenue, down Duluth to St-Denis and back to Carre St-Louis. The entire performance takes about 45 minutes, after which you may disperse or stay as you please.

I hope to see some new & familiar faces there!
