It is once again time for the annual Fitness Challenge! This is a friendly competition amongst the recreation departments at all 10 Universities. The competition is really quite simple – log on to the Fitness Challenge website each day between October 26-30 to log your physical activity for that day. You can log activities such as walking to class, walking to the store, participating in an IM game, practicing with your club, or simply playing a pick-up game with your friends – virtually any physical activity counts! To register and log your activity, simply visit the Fitness Challenge website. Please take a few minutes to represent the University, the club sports program, and your club.
I ask that you forward this on to all of your teammates and anyone else who might be interested and ask for their participation. As an incentive, the top three clubs whose members log their physical activity will be rewarded. The club with the most activity logged will receive an additional $300 allocation, the club in second will receive an additional $150 allocation, and the club in third will receive an additional $50 allocation. When you (and your teammates) register, be sure to select “club sports” from the group field on the registration form, and then enter the club’s name in the group name field on the registration form. Remember, anyone (roommates, friends, and family) can register and indicate club sports and your club’s name, increasing your clubs chances of winning $$$!
Thank you in advance for your assistance spreading the word and your participation - Jason
