Thursday morning MB Tractor brought the Asv Acout up to Stinson Lake
for us to try on our trail system. Peter and Steve arrived at 10am
and unloaded on Doe Town Rd just off of cross st.
We entered the trail system at Ed B's house and went across the trail
to Camp Seven, down the the road, and looped back up Quick Lunch. We
were joined along the way by Ed B and David L. who both got their
chance to operate the machine.
Overall I thought the performance of the Scout was great. It had
plenty of power and traction. It was comfortable to sit in and easy
to operate. Climbed all our hills with little effort and manuvered
through the tightest areas with ease.
I was a little disappointed with the drag that they brought with the
machine the was manufactured by MTN. Although the drag was well built
and seemed to operate well, it did not cut through the bumpy areas as
i hoped it would. I think that adjutments could be made to it to
correct that problem and it would be fine but the hard packed
conditions didnt help either.
If you have any questions about the test or MB Tractor or comments,
please post them here.
Thanks, Drew
