I snowshoed past Healy Rock today to mark the trail for the
(insane) person that tries to break it with a sled. Man, I was
sinking
halfway
up my thigh with 30" snowshoes. There is a ton of snow up there.
There are a couple of spots there where the old trail is a big hole
surrounded by a drift.
It's really hard to tell where the trail is supposed to go, so I
thought
that breaking it with snowshoes might help. Chris had a good idea
of marking the trail with plastic ribbon tape. We'll have to do that
next weekend.
