Do you think that the ice is thick enough where the crossing usually
is?
If so, can we shovel snow to fill in the sharp drop off on each side?
We might even be able to use pick axes to chop away the sharp dropoff.
Another idea might be to make 2 small 8' by 4' ramps to get on and off
the
frozen surface?
The current detour isn't too horrible. Maybe we could shovel some snow
into the
rut where the detour cuts through the trees?
