Hi!
First of all, thank you for this amazing extension. It looks great and works beautifully.
However, I have encountered an issue with the keyboard focus on Firefox. When I open a new tab using the "+" button, the text cursor (focus) is automatically moved away from the main browser address bar (Awesomebar) and drops down onto the blank extension page canvas. Because of this, I cannot immediately start typing my search queries or URLs; I have to manually click the address bar with my mouse every single time.
If I set the default "Firefox Home" for new tabs, the focus stays in the address bar perfectly. But when "Clear New Tab" is selected, the script steals the focus.
Could you please add an option in the extension settings to disable this behavior? Ideally, an option like "Focus address bar on new tab" or "Do not steal keyboard focus on load" would be a lifesaver for people who prefer to type immediately without touching the mouse. Alternately, making this the default behavior for Firefox users would be highly appreciated.
Thank you for your time and for maintaining this project!

What version of Firefox you're using, and what's your OS? I tested it on Windows 11 in Firefox 154.0.1 and it doesn't steal focus for me.

You can try to download a new version of Clear New Tab here and see if it's fixed (you can install it offline in Firefox Developer Edition or Nightly). I haven't released it yet in Firefox Store, but it's fully working extension.

Latest versions of Firefox and extensions. I switched from Chrome a few days ago. I checked again with other extensions, and yes, everything worked fine. The issue was a conflict with TabMix Plaus. Sorry for the inconvenience. Thanks for your reply!
