Name of the extension/theme in question: Selected Text Searcher version 1.44

Your problem/suggestion/question: In Chrome (version 80.0.3987.149) and on almost all https (maybe all?) websites that I visit the icon for "Connection is secure" (the padlock) located to the left of the address bar is not visible and the text where the padlock should be reads "Not secure". If I click on the text it reads "Your connection to this site is not fully secure".
If I disable this extension everything is back to normal with the padlock showing in locked mode and the text "Connection is secure" visible if I click on the padlock. All of this on https websites.
This must be a serious security flaw...

Still same problem for me at http://google.com/. All sites that I open changes to Not secure. And this extension is all that I disable for it to be back to normal. I will try to backup, delete and reinstall.
Thanks for quick reply, though...

This probably happens because one of your tile links to a http website favicon. Try removing tiles one by one and check if the issue still exists. If issue is indeed caused by linking to a favicon, then upload a favicon to imgur (or any other image hosting website) and replace default icon url in the tile that causes problem.

I haven´t deleted it yet but I noticed one thing: In Chromes place for all extensions and under "Details", if I change "Site access" to "One click" from "On all sites" also removes the problem and the padlock is visible on all sites.

This is because "on click" disables an extension untill you click on the extension icon. Like I said, it probably one of your tiles that causes this.

Even if I manually has not changed the favicons (if that is even possible)? Everything is just like the extension automatically created; address, favicon and so on...?
But I see that some web-addresses are http and not https, can that have something to do with it? Those http-sites still have Google as Icon URL, though.

It is possible to replace the favicon with your own. Just replace the link in "Icon URL" with a link to any image on the web. So for example, https://www.google.com/s2/favicons?domain=www.google.ru becomes https://i.imgur.com/cCBjOkT.png. Also, to make sure the issue is related to tiles at all, go to settings and click on the "Delete all tiles" button and see if the issue persist when there is no tiles at all (don't forget backup your data!).

Yes! It was the favicon problem. I deleted a bunch of them and now the padlock is visible again. Thank you so much for quick and correct answers! How wonderful if all developers were like you. You'r a hero!
