Why does nothing I post here show up in the list? What kinda annoying bullshit is this?

Edit: This was the third time I attempted to post here. The others disappeared into the ether, so I'll edit this one.

What's up with the favicons? Why does nearly every search result have an extra Google favicon? I already know I'm on Google. Why are the actual site favicons buried inside links so I can't invoke the context menu on them? Hopefully this is unintended, because it's weird and inconvenient.

Your posts ended up in spam. They're in my moderation queue. This forum is buggy, even my own posts end up in spam sometimes.

The reason you see two favicons is because Google experimenting on you. They plan to add their own favicons to search results, so they give some users experimental versions of google.com with favicons. The icon closer to the left is from ges, it behaves incorrectly (always shows google icon) because markup of website changed. The right icon is from google itself.

When this feature will be rolled out for everyone I will remove favicon feature from ges, but right now I can't do this since only some users received this new version of the website. For now, try disabling ges favicons in its settings.

Makes sense. When it rolls out, I wish you wouldn't scrap it entirely. Instead of pulling the favicons, it'd be cool if it moved the favicons Google provides back where they should be, instead of buried inside links.

What do you do with favicons? Do you download them?

Sometimes, if they need editing. Mostly, I utilize it as a favicon finder. If I frequent a site with no favicon, or the favicon is ugly or doesn't relate well, I'll search for related sites, or sites with a similar acronym, copy the Google favicon address and switch the site's favicon with https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/favicon-changer/ijaabbaphikljkkcbgpbaljfjpflpeoo

If you don't think the previous placement is better in general, I'll just write a script to move em, NBD. Couldn't hurt to ask though. =)
