Browser Accessibility Development

Membership is open to anyone, but the primary purpose of the list is discussion by developers who implement accessibility in web browsers or who implement support for web browsers in assistive technology.

Topics may include:

* Compatibility between different web browsers with regards to accessibility

* How to implement web accessibility specs

* Discussion of experimental implementations of proposed web accessibility specs

* How to expose browser accessibility to assistive technology using various interfaces

* How assistive technology should interpret web browser accessibility

Note that this list is not the official place to propose a new accessibility spec - ideas and discussion are welcome, but a standards proposal should be done via the appropriate W3C group such as PFWG. This list also isn't the place to discuss web accessibility in general, for example best authoring practices - unless it's relevant to web browser development.
