Clara is interested in doing the Girl Scout Core Camping iff (if and only if) other girls from the troop are doing it. I would be able to do transport for 2 or 3 other girls.

Hello - You are receiving this email because you are on the special events list for Troop 20037. Let me know if you would like to be removed from this list.

I need to know interest in the following events... some are filling very quickly. Also note that chaperones would be needed for each event. We may want to consider dividing the cost of the chaperone over the cost of the kids attending to lessen the burden for families that are helping out. Send me a return email if your girl is interested in attending, and let me know if you can chaperone or think we should split the costs for chaperones.

Girl Scout Core Camp - Butternut Springs: It would be run by council outdoor programs department, I believe the theme for activities would be learning and practicing core camping skills. Everything included in cost - $75. 6:00pm March 27th to 11:00am March 29th. Corbett plus a minimum of 1 volunteer needed. Transportation would need to be arranged by families.

Field Museum Overnight - We would be sleeping in an all Girl Scout area of the museum. Program for the event is pretty standard. One of my favorite museum overnights. Cost includes light breakfast and snacks, I added $4 towards cost of imax movie (perfect for when kids are tired) - $75. April 17 6:00pm to April 18 8:00am. The adult to child ratio for this event is 3 kids to 1 adult so it can be hard to coordinate chaperones. We need to figure this out ASAP if it is going to work out.
