Fwd: Cookie Info - Booth on Saturday the 16th, pickup thereafter!

For my 8th grade scouts, we are doing a cookie booth on Saturday the 16th 9 AM to 1 PM at the usual place, Peet's Coffee at 1622 N Church in Evanston. Let me know if your scout is in for this. Cookie pickup will be the week after-- it depends on how well our sale goes and therefore how many cookies I need to replace! 

If your girls want to stay after school on Thursday and help Corbett sort cookies, I'm sure their help would be greatly appreciated.

This is probably our last cookie booth EVAH unless the girls are really gung-ho (and with Ye Olde History Faire, I don't feel so gung-ho myself).

READ HERE IF VOLUNTEERING DURING THE DAY

Opportunities:

1. Help sort cookies into troops for the Service Unit starting around 10am at Queen of Angels.

2. Help drive cookies from Queen of Angels to Edison meet around 1:30pm at Queen of Angels.

3. Help sort and sign out cookies at Edison, any time from 2:15pm to 5:30pm.

Here is the latest info. Cookies are scheduled to arrive at out service unit drop spot at 10am. They are usually late so assume they are there by 11am. It will take 2-3 hours to sort all the troops. No troop can pick up early. We expect to be able to pick up our cookies between 1:30 and 2pm. 

The service unit drop spot is Queen of Angels on Sunnyside near Wells Park.

Jen Mach will be at the church helping to sort starting around 10am. If anyone wants to help at the church, they are always looking for extra hands. Let me know if you want to help all day and I will get you connected with the right people.

We have a family with a large van helping to pick up cookies at the church, but we will need a few extra people with vehicles to help load and transport cases to Edison. Again let me know if you are available for this and we will connect you to the text message chain for exact timing.

Cookies should arrive at Edison between 2:15 and 2:30. The third grade helps unload... they love seeing soooooo many boxes of cookies. It is a fun unload at Edison. Then we will need volunteers at Edison to help sort and sign out cookies. 

EVERYONE READ PICK UP INFO BELOW

Cookies will probably be ready between 3:30 and 5:30pm. I doubt they will be ready right after school, it just depends how quick things get sorted. Cadettes are welcome to stay after school and help sort, please let me know ASAP if your child is staying.

 

Everyone will need to count and sign out that you received your cookies. 

Yes you can have someone pick up your cookies for you.

If you can't get them during that timeframe, it is important to find someone to pick up your cookies  We don't have storage space at Edison. 

We have to be out of Edison by 6pm so please don't arrive at 5:55pm to count and sign out your cookies.

Extra cookies will be counted and available the following week.
