Cookie time-- already?

Hi GS parents! 

  First, after dealing with a bunch of crazy-ass brownie parents at Camp Edison, can I just say that I really appreciate you-all and your laid-back but supportive attitudes!

  Second, it's cookie time again. Clara will be passing out the forms to her fellow scouts on Monday. Quick reminder, don't sell overtly at school until January-- we don't want to get in trouble, hmm-- but feel free to sell on the QT to your friends and relatives over winter break.  Due date will be mid-January. Girls seem interested in cookie booths too-- I will select a few dates once the council opens up sites.

  Third, camping! The girls seem to be interested in Juniper Knoll this year and Kerry and I are working on a date for a campout with just our troop, probably some time after Spring Break. Will let you know on dates. Speaking of camping, if you are looking for a holiday gift for your girl, consider buying a mess kit (plate/bowl, cup, utensils). I got some cheapo ones from Walmart for the last campout, but I bet the girls would love to have nice ones of their own.

  Finally, I'm not sure if you got the email but Corbett's grandfather is in hospice-- I'm vague on a lot of dates because I don't want to add to her burden... but more information coming soon.
