Kerry and I had discussed June 25/26 as potential camping dates, but now Corbett is offering an opportunity to sail on the Tall Ship Windy. Can you check with your girls to see if they have a preference? Clara said she would rather camp with our troop than do anything that involved the younger scouts, haha!
We are still thinking about the camping trip-- will get back to you when we have definite dates. If camping falls through, we can sail. In the meantime, share your girl's opinion here:

I got confirmation that we could do an educational sail on Tall Ship Windy. It would be out of Navy Pier at 11am on Wednesday June 26th. Girl Scouts and registered parent volunteers would be free. Extra family members would be $10. Can you get a count of who would be interested in attending from each grade? I would be willing to meet people in front of Navy Pier at 10am if they want to drop off their child, otherwise meet on the dock by the ship at 10:30. If we do summer camp this would be part of our day at Navy Pier. I need to know if there is enough interest to make it worth booking. I have done this with kids before and loved it!
