Burma Club meeting minutes 03/10

Hello hello hello, 

 

Here's a recap of yesterday night's meeting. 

FIRST: A big warm welcome to Allie! She's a freshman and a new member of BCB! <3 

Announcements: PAC has given us $100 and the TWC's Asian Heritage Series gave us $150.

Combined with the $200 baseline we have for BCB, the total funds for the Thingyan/Songkran water festival comes down to: $450 !! 

This is how we're allocating the budget:

FOOD 

Thai Iced Tea - $50 

Mango + Sticky Rice (Thai dessert) - $100 

Mote Lone Yay Baw (Burmese dessert) - $0 

Black Jelly and Grey Jelly (Burmese dessert) - $0 

ACTIVITIES 

Sprinklers and hose - $0 (?) 

Water guns - $20 

Slip & Slide - $30 

TOTAL - $200 

Which means we don't have to be too strict about how much we spend on food and activities (we can use a little bit more than what's allocated, if we need to). Also, keep in mind that we're planning on having about 50-60 people in attendance.
