Hey everybody!

Don't forget to come to Burma club tonight, we'll be discussing important things about setting up the movie screening.

Tom says that we will need to book the location 10 days in advance or we will get charged $100 (OUCH) so we'll need to re-discuss the date and venue for the screening of "The Lady" and hopefully this will happen SOON and we can stop post-poning it......

I've been speaking with some students and deans and have found more places to promote the event! Will share this with you guys at meeting tonight.

The movie screening for The Lady has been changed to Wednesday, Oct 23rd. Let me know if anyone really cannot make this date.

AHHH IT SENT BEFORE I FINISHED TYPING IT OUT.

... ahem. As I was saying...

In terms of publicity for the movie screening, we will also be putting out an AD in the BDH (which Bruno will bet taking care of).

Also, I spoke with Dean Almandrez and she said she's really interested in attending the event, so that would be pretty cool. She also recommended that we advertise in the Asian Heritage Series, so I'll get on that. We can also try to sell this to the Pan Asian Council (Amy, do you have connections with them?)

Tom wants to blow a gasket (in a non-sexual way) and will also book us a room!

Once the room is booked, we'll have the posters ready to be handed out next meeting, so everyone should try to make it!

In other news, Thaw Zin is sending a letter to the Myanmar Ambassador for him to come visit us at Brown. He'll keep us updated on this.
