Lately, I’ve been so in love with vintage jewelry….but not just any vintage jewelry. Right now I’m obsessed with vintage Native American turquoise jewelry. My new love/obsession for vintage jewelry and clothing came about recently while reading “Savvy Chic: The Art of More for Less” by Anna Johnson. I love this book!!!!!
It's a great book and I was so inspired by it. In the book, Anna writes about how she stays chic & stylish and lives a fun, exciting and meaningful life on a tight budget. There is a chapter on building your wardrobe; Anna also gives food recipes and how-to advice on how to entertain richly on a small budget. She also has a chapter on travel. Anna wrote a lot about buying quality vintage items because they are unique, usually made well and will last longer. After reading this book, I became very inspired to look at vintage clothing and jewelry.
Here are some of the gorgeous vintage turquoise pieces that I’ve been drooling over on etsy.com. I love turquoise because it's a beautiful bold color that looks good on any skin tone and you could wear it with anything! These pieces are not cheap! and probably not the vintage jewelry that Anna writes about in the book:) but they are sooooo beautiful! I just love to look at them and imagine wearing it.
