One of my resolutions for this year is to really hone in and define my personal style. I've tried so many different styles and trends of clothing and makeup over the years and now I really feel confident with my own personal style. Here's just a few of my personal favorites. Once I find something that I love I keep buying it. I purchased everything on the list except the dress. I'm

waiting for it to go on sale:)

1. Emerald Wickclow Dress from Anthropologie - I love Anthroplogie's eccentric style. The clothing is very feminine which I love. A secret tip I learned is that Anthropologie places new items on Sale every Tuesday on the website. So shop on Tuesdays!

2. Black Opal Stick Foundation in Truly Topaz - Black Opal Foundation believe-it-or-not is a Celebrity Makeup Artist favorite..how do I know? I studied makeup artistry with a celebrity makeup artist a few summers ago. Black Opal offers seven shades in their stick foundation. The foundation can be very heavy if you use a lot. I use it everyday sparingly on my face applying foundation only where I need it...which is mostly around the eyes:) I don't get much sleep.

3. Bobbi Brown Gel Eyeliner - I love this...This is my new favorite eyeliner. It's very black and it glides on like creamy butter. It doesn't get hard and flake off and lasts all day long. It goes on so smooth and you're not dragging the skin over your eye like you would when using a pencil. Even though it comes in a very small jar it lasts a long time. All you need is a teeny tiny bit on a fine tip brush. Love it!!

4. Kristen Aronsson Handbags - I bought this bag in hot pink about 6 six years ago at a craft fair in Brooklyn, NY. I love this bag! It's so big....I'm a bit of a bag lady. I tend to carry everything with me at all times...even things I don't need. On an average day I will stuff this bag with my lunch, my shoes, library books, groceries etc... Even after six years my bag still looks great!

5. Lights, Camera, Lashes from Tarte - My favorite mascara in the whole world. I would never wear false lashes. It's just not my style. I like to look natural...but I do like the look of long beautiful lashes. This mascara gives you the look of super long natural lashes. It's clinically proven to increase your lash volume by 421%. I don't go anywhere without at least a little mascara. I love Tarte because they use really good ingredients and green packaging for their products.

6. Spanx body shapers - This is a must have in every girls wardrobe. I buy the high waisted shapers because it goes all the way to the bra line and it hides all of my back fat from showing. It gives me a nice smooth back and waist line. It makes any article of clothing fit better.
