School Board of Broward County, Exceptional Student Education Newsletter Greetings Parents! Reminder: The ESE parent workshop on Preparing Your Child for Transition From School to Adult Life will be held on October 16th (6:30 p.m.-8:30 p.m.). To register to attend, parents may e-mail me (kimberly.diluzio@b rowardschools.com) or call  754-321-2211.    Preparing Your Child for Transition From School to Adult Life  Participants will learn about transition planning and how they can become more active in the process. Transition planning is part of the IEP process and should begin by age 14. Legal requirements of IDEA 2004, the availability of adult service agencies, and options for what lies ahead after high school will be discussed.      Date:  October 16, 2008 Time:  6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. Location: < div>Fox Trail Elementary School Media Center & park in back of building
