TRICARE Reminds Beneficiaries to Be Food Safe

On average, approximately 48 million people get sick each year in the U.S. from contaminated food. Among them, about 128,000 are hospitalized and 3,000 die according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Harmful bacteria are the most common cause of foodborne illness.
