The Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) is seeking a Lead Hazard Reduction Program Risk Assessor (Job ID: 95251) in the Environmental Health (EH) Division to support the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Lead Hazard Control Grant Program. The incumbent is responsible for ensuring the successful implementation of the grant program by managing program deliverables, facilitating enrollments, and overseeing project completion in Southeastern Minnesota.
Responsibilities include:
- Establishing strong working relationships with local partners, property owners, and families to promote participation in the program.
- Navigating complex grant policies, applying problem-solving skills to adapt federal, state, and departmental regulations to real-world scenarios.
- Providing technical guidance and consultation to the public, community-based organizations, and other stakeholders.
