Resource: National Tribal Clearinghouse Sexual Assault Vignette
The National Tribal Clearinghouse on Sexual Assault developed a series of vignettes highlighting consent and healing rooted in the strength of American Indian and Alaska Native traditions. A vignette is a short piece of writing, music, or video that focuses more on vivid imagery and meaning than the plot or content. Each vignette discusses important concepts that promote sexual violence prevention, such as boundaries, and connecting to culture through ceremonies and traditional healing methods.
Check out the clearinghouse for resources focused on prevention in Tribal communities, which are designed and informed by the community and those who work with American Indian and Alaska Native survivors of sexual assault.
