Gentlemen:

TSB Comedy Club Night is less than 3 weeks away! I have created a Google spreadsheet with lots of info. Please take a look and

refer back to it whenever you have the chance. I'll try to keep it up to date with current ticket count, etc.

I have listed the positions in 2 categories: shift positions and other positions.

I'm hoping we get enough volunteers to have 2 shifts in the first category. After 8pm, I would hope that all attendees will have arrived

and those jobs will be completed.

The kitchen guys should be able to do all prep work before 7 or 7:30pm, and then be able to join the fun as well. We hired Roseanne

for the evening, as usual, and she can make coffee and prepare the dessert platters during the show.

The bartenders are really the only positions that should continue throughout the evening, so let's try to fill up those slots and share the workload.

PLEASE PUT YOUR NAME IN PLACE OF THE ? FOR ANY SPOT YOU WOULD LIKE TO FILL.  AND ITS OK TO TAKE MORE THAN ONE SPOT!

Also, you'll notice over on the right side of the page there is a place to enter donations of wine/beer and desserts. And at the bottom of the page, I listed the 

approximate schedule for the evening. Please look at all of this carefully - it really helps for us all to be on the same page. So I tried to put it all on 1 page :)

And please- don't forget to forward the invitation email to all of your friends, neighbors, relatives, etc.

And if you have not purchased your tickets yet, please come to the BH board meeting this Wednesday prepared to spend your money.

Gentlemen:

Things are looking up! We're at 87 tickets now, with a few stragglers pending. I predict we will pass 100. Most of the spots are filled in on our chart,

and I can step in somewhere as well.

Where we need some help is in the dessert donations. Thanks to all for your booze, but we definitely need

some more cake! Does not need to be home-made (although preferable) but beggars can't be choosy.

Please take a look at the chart again (see link below) and see if you can find time to bake, buy, or otherwise procure.

Gentlemen:

Well 3 days later we are now at 113 tickets sold, plus an unconfirmed additional 7 bringing the anticipated total to 120!

And FYI, 12 Temple board members (not including me) and the Rabbi will attend.

 No further donations have been logged, so we will buy additional desserts.

Please arrive at the Temple at 5pm Saturday - we need to set up the stage, the spotlight, the bar, and make sure the tables are

arranged to our liking. Dinner will be provided, donated by Burrini's.

Suggested attire - sport jacket, no tie, jeans or slacks, BH name badge (if you have one)

Another successful Comedy Club Night!  Thanks to all once again for all you do. I'd like to mention

each one of you by name but I don't want to leave anyone out - and even the smallest contribution is

appreciated and worthwhile.

However, Darren Milun deserves special recognition for taking charge in the kitchen - a great job - much appreciated!

And.... Al Shangold was as good a bouncer/ticket taker as you can find anywhere. He even brought his wife for back -up/moral support. Thanks Al!

And I'm sure we can all agree that the comedian was terrific, absolutely perfect for this audience. 

I believe a really good time was had by all.

 

Once all the receipts/expenses are tabulated, we'll figure out the net profit on this event - but with 120 attendees I can assure you it was a successful evening for us.
