MADD Clothing drive

Gentlemen:

At last weeks board meeting I brought up the idea of another clothing drive, but the

company that we've used before (with the help of Jason Apter) changed their minimum for pick-up and payment to 10,000 lbs. 

So I did a little on-line research (very little, actually) and found that the Big Brothers/Big Sisters organization

will pick up a minimum of 25 bags of used clothing, etc. There is no weight requirement. They too will pay us, probably the same rate as the other outfit.

Jenny Winters, who requested that the BH organize another drive in conjunction with MADD, is very happy to help and will distribute flyers

this Sunday to all RS students. There will also be an e-blast from the Temple office and our own email to the BH mailing list.

It will just be a one-day collection drive, next Sunday 4/17 and Big Brothers/Big Sisters will pick up everything on Monday morning.

If we don't get the minimum of 25 bags, I'll throw whatever we do collect into my minivan and drop it off to them!

And please help the cause by bringing a bag next week - we'll pile everything up in the back right corner of the lot. If everyone on this

email brings one bag we're almost at the minimum!
