As per tonight there were no committee reports filed.

Mark Strauss and Gary Lobel will be traveling this week on business.

Brotherhood Minutes  6/25/2014

Treasures Report:

    PNC MONEY MARKET: $6857

    PNC Checking  :             $118

We finished the year with 86 members. This year we were positive $1700.

We didn’t have the furnace expense of last year.

Ritual:

   They need leaders for Saturday morning services for the summer.

There are six dates that need to be covered :

July   5^th   19^th and 26^th

August 2^nd 9^th and 16^th

We will try to run a Brotherhood service on August 9^th.

 Last year the second night Seder had 94 people attend. They are thinking about making the price $36 per person

.  They would like us to run the Seder again for the following year. We would like to help but with another group from the

 Temple to increase temple member participation .Ken made a motion that we take on the responsibility to help run the

event with another Temple entity created by the Temple Board. The vote was passed.

 

Renaissance :

  They had a BBQ last weekend. It cost $5 per person and 45-50 people attended.

Old Business:

   The Rabbi review  committee is stalled. He didn’t hand in his evaluation.

    We are still waiting to see what we made on the electronic fund raiser.

    The David Ensel Apple Trees were planted. We needed volunteers to water

and all 36 spots were taken. We had a budget of $500 for this and we stayed in budget.

We tabled the discussion of should we have a men’s Seder instead of our breakfast on

March 22^nd.

Al will look into purchasing our own paper goods.

We would like all the groups in the Temple to get volunteers to make High Holiday appeal calls. Maybe this

will make it more successful.

The first Brotherhood breakfast will be on September 7^th.
