Horned Grebe (transitional) in a small inlet in the river.

From Boland Park (JC) parking lot, walk along dirt access road from the gate toward the trestle. When the river and trestle are both in view. turn left at the 2nd last path and follow it to the big tree with the hole through its base. The Grebe hangs out in the inlet ahead on the left from there.

I first saw it there March 31, again on April 1st and it is still there today, April 4th.
