Spring is rapidly arriving and with that many new species of birds have become a common sight. GOLDEN-CROWNED KINGLETS are everywhere, TREE SWALLOWS, EASTERN PHOEBES, and many others. I got a great look at RUSTY BLACKBIRD on the edge of the cove past red gate. Got some decent photos. Notice the different plumage than the COMMON GRACKLES which can be confusing. I also managed a few recordings of RED-WINGED BLACKBIRDS and SONG SPARROWs before the wind kicked in. A great way to start my day this morning as I have work this afternoon and evening.
