Leading with Intention
with Amber Alpizar
Thursday, May 28, 2026
1:30 pm - 4:30 pm
In-person at Tompkins County Public Library, Borg Warner Room
$70 - pre-registration is required
Leaders today face unprecedented pressure—navigating burnout, leading through rapid and ongoing change, managing limited resources, constant complex decisions, and
evolving trust dynamics with their teams. In this environment, leadership requires both resilience and deep alignment with mission and values. This workshop helps leaders re‑ground in their core values, build trust, and lead with clarity and confidence during
times of uncertainty. Drawing on Brené Brown’s Dare to Lead® framework and the 15 Commitments of Conscious Leadership, participants gain practical tools to lead from the inside out—balancing compassion with accountability, courage with care.
Through facilitated dialogue, practical tools, and real‑world application, leaders will learn how to:
-
Stay grounded and emotionally present during crisis and change
-
Navigate burnout and overwhelm without sacrificing integrity
-
Build and repair trust in moments that matter most
-
Make values‑aligned decisions under pressure
-
Lead teams with confidence, accountability, and lasting impact
In the end, leaders leave better equipped to continue serving their mission without losing themselves or their people along the way.
