Brooklyn organizing meeting for 2015 Disability Pride Parade celebrating the 25th Anniversary of the A.D.A.

Dear Friends,

Following our tremendously successful 'Jazz Legends for Disability Pride' benefit concert, we are ready to take our show on the road.  We are committed to hosting our monthly planning meetings in every borough in our effort to invite participation from the vast array of organizations and individuals from throughout NYC who share our goals. 

  

The first event will take place in Brooklyn, in the Board Room at the Brooklyn Center for Independence of the Disabled located at 27 Smith Street near Borough Hall. The meeting will take place on Friday, January 30 starting at 6:00 PM.

We look forward to working with you to ensure our First Annual Disability Pride Parade is truly representative of the beautiful mosaic of which the proud disability community of New York City is comprised.
