Hey again folks,

After the awesome write-up in last week's issue of New York Magazine about the "new collectivism", we wanted to let you know that spots to teach at this year's Brooklyn Skillshare are quickly filling up! The deadline to get your teacher proposals in for this year's Skillshare is a month away! You have until August 15th to submit your ideas for teaching a class.

A quick rundown for this year's BKSS 2010:
  • It will be held Saturday, October 9th, 2010 from 9am - 4pm
  • Our venue will be The Brooklyn Community Arts & Media High School (also known as BCAM) in Bed-Stuy
  • There will be 5 blocks of hour-long classes going on (with 4 to 5 classes per block--so that's 20-25 spots to fill--we have 12 filled as of right now)
  • Proposal forms are required for the consideration/selection process to teach, please be thorough when filling them out (just copy and paste into a new email)
  • You need no formal experience in teaching--just a willingness to share what you know!
We are trucking along with planning  and looking forward to seeing your proposals!

Best,

Team BKSS
