Brooklyn Skillshare volunteer meet-up this Wednesday!

Hey all,

Reminding you we are having an Orientation on Wednesday, September 22nd at Brooklyn Launchpad in Crown Heights (721 Franklin Avenue  Brooklyn, NY 11238) from 6-8pm. 

This is for volunteers who'd like to learn more about the Skillshare and get involved, whether through distributing fliers or volunteering on the day on October 9th. 

We will provide snacks and beer from the Fire Island Beer Company is being generously donated by Old-time Banjo teacher, Greg Glassman.

Some things we will need help with:

Flyering

Checking participants in

Directing participants to classrooms

Staffing cash box

Checking volunteer teachers in 

Manning email list sign-up (will need laptop for this)

Recycling/Cleanup

Also: 

We have 10 DAYS LEFT to reach our goal of $1500! If you were considering paying a suggested donation anyways on Oct 10th--you can do it now to help us get our funding to class supplies. If we don't reach our goal, we will not receive any $ through this fundraiser (that's how Kickstarter works). Help us out and get goodies for your kindness. Help us out, tell your friends, tell your family, spread the word!
