Hey there Skillsharers!

Happy Spring (well, at least we hope this weather sticks)!

We are having a mini Skillshare this Sunday at Homemade: Brooklyn at Kill Devil Hill in Greenpoint! The Lovely Jacqueline Schmidt of Screech Owl Design (who taught fiber arts at the inaugural BKSS) will be teaching a FREE knitting class at 11am (3/14). Be sure to stop by Friday through Sunday to check out other classes and local vendors (see details below)!

We're currently working on planning the next Skillshare and will soon be putting out a call for teachers and volunteers, so stay tuned!

See you this weekend.

Best,

The BKSS Collective

Greetings!

The Shiny Squirrel and Sew Moni are launching a 3-day pop up store event that will feature all locally made products on the weekend of March 12th - 14th from 11:00 to 8:00 pm. Homemade: Brooklyn is delighted to be taking over Kill Devil Hill for the weekend and showcasing some amazing folks who are living and working in the borough.

The vendor list is varied offering a general store type environment with food, art, home design, and clothing/ accessories. We are proud to announce a fantastic selection of people involved including BAM's Beef Jerky, Loyalty and Blood, Old Hollywood, Beetle and Flor, Caja Jewelry, Gold Teeth stationery, and Brooklyn rehab to name a few.

There will also be DIY Classes Saturday and Sunday mornings co-sponsored with Brooklyn Skillshare.

Thank you so much and we really hope you can make it out for the opening party as well on March 12 starting at 6:00. There will be free food and drinks. I have attached the poster and press release for you to look over and let me know if you have any further questions.

kind regards,
