Introducing Maia Lexie Folkert

Born on 1/26 at 10:07am at a petite 6 pounds 2 ounces, 19 inches! She shares her big sister's long eyelashes and head full of dark hair.
Maia Lexie is named for my mother, Marsha, who passed away on 1/25 and her twin sister, Leslie, who passed away 2 months earlier.
Maia's currently hanging out in the continuous care nursery where she will remain for observational purposes until Sunday evening, fingers crossed. I'm being discharged later today after a successful c-section recovery and will spend the weekend nearby in the city to be close to Maia, and finally take her home!!
