With everything going on in Michelle's life, I feel especially grateful for this incredible group of women that we are a part of. You mamas rock!! And I cant't wait to see everyone in March...

I want to throw out an idea for the reunion/birthday party. Soccer Super Stars can host a party for us at Upper90 on Atlantic Ave on March 8 at either 1-2:30 or 4-5:30. Cost is $395 for 10 kids and includes coaches equipment and activities for an hour and then 30 mins for cake (that we would bring).

What do you think? I won't be offended if you want to do something else. Just let me know another suggestion!

Love to all,
Gabi

I love this idea!  I have to check on the date though.  Since this is Maxwell's actual birthday week, we were thinking of doing a local party for him -- possibly that day.  I can get back to you guys soon though!

Sounds like fun.  Also would love to host a reunion at our new home (whether it's a 3rd birthday thing or not).  We have a large playroom that can be used for a party (with some imagination).

Soccer Super Stars sounds like a fun birthday idea.  We’re in.  4-530 is our preference since 1-230 falls squarely within nap time in our house but I am willing to push Andi thru if that time frame is preferable for everyone else.

I volunteer to make / buy the birthday cake or cupcakes.

Can’t wait to see all you lovely ladies and all the THREE year olds!

Gabi,
Love Super Soccer Stars! Had a friend who raved about the party they had on Atlantic. Poppy took soccer last summer and had a blast. The coaches are terrific. Sounds like a great plan! Either time works for us!

We could make that later time frame work as well!  Sounds like a great idea Gabi!

So funny.  We'll make it happen too.   As long as all goes well in Florida.  We're getting back the 4th!  Should we do a grab bag again?

Sounds great. Is the later timeframe still the preference? Or is it too tough for the out of town folks? Please weigh in!

We can make either work.  Zoe's sleep schedule is so messed up now that the baby's come to rock her world, so anything goes around here :(

I'd love to host a gathering here in the near future - maybe a potluck?  Any interest?

xoxo

Thanks Michelle! We would love to come over for some potluck playtime!

For the soccer party, can I go ahead and book the later time slot? They are hounding me since others are interested. March 8 @ 4pm.

Go for it! I'm not doing a solo birthday party this year for Poppy, so this is perfect. Her present is the grand I owe to secure her spot at preschool next year! Yikes, she just got into a great school for September, but Skye and I are dealing with serous sticker shock...

On another note- Amazon just delivered a copy of "Your Three Year Old: Friend or Foe." The title alone got me, haha, I had to order!

A very Happy 3rd birthday to all the early February kids!

OK mamas. I'm officially booking Super Soccer Stars for Sunday March 8 4-5:30pm at Upper90 on Atlantic.
Dara - thanks for being (as always!) the hostess with the mostess and providing cake/cupcakes.
We'll need paper goods and drinks but I think that's it. I'll confirm that one and then send out a list of what we need. I love the idea of doing the grab bag again!

Cost will be $395 for 10 kids and if we have more it's $30/kid. This should be fantastic fun!

Michelle - so glad that you are home and hope you and your little girls are making you smile. =)

Hope everyone is doing well.

Love!

Somehow it's already almost time for the reunion!

We'll need a few things for the party, but it's really whatever we want to do, so no pressure. I'll list out their suggestions and people can sign up. We can also opt to buy some party favors from them if we want (balloons $1.50/each, water bottles $9/each, t-shirts $8.50/each, long sleeved shirts$15/each), but it's optional. The last thing we'll need is a final headcount of kids.

**WHAT WE NEED/WANT TO HAVE (sign up below):
Food for kids/adults: [we could just order in some pizza to keep it simple if that's the preference!]
Cake: [Dara - still ok?]
Drinks:
Table Cloths:
Cups:
Plates and Napkins: Gabi
Plasticware:
Cake knife:
Candles:
Decorations:

**HEADCOUNT (correct as necessary!):
Maddie
Andi
Cecile
Max
Eve
Arie
Poppy
Zoe
Theo
Lincoln

**And don't forget a grab bag present $20-25!

Sorry this is rambling…I can't wait to see everyone!

We're still in and still good for bringing cake / cupcakes (although I may buy instead of bake so don't be disappointed). We'll cover the cake knife & candles too.

Pizza is perfect. The kids (and adults) will enjoy that and it's easy.

I say no need for the favors because we're already doing the gift exchange.

Looking forward to seeing everyone!

I can bring tablecloths (do we know how many or the shape of the tables?) and a happy birthday banner.  What other kinds of decorations do we need?

Sorry for silence - We are on vaca. We are in!

Jess F - let me help with drinks so you don't have to lug too much. Will email to coordinate.

Also - GoGo is going to want to play with the big kids if she is there. I can come with Celie alone, but if it's a family affair then maybe we should RSVP for one more and I'll pay for 2 kids?

Xxx

Hi Everyone,

Sorry for being so out of the loop. We're definitely in! What can we chip-in with? Balloons? More drinks--for the adults maybe?

Gabi, we'd also bring Lili and she's likely to crawl to her hearts content. Would it be okay to add her to the head count?

Thanks so much for putting all of this together. It will be super exciting to see everyone.

Big hugs!
Lorena

I'm so excited to see everyone Sunday!

Here's the final headcount:
Maddie
Andi
Cecile
Max
Eve
Arie
Poppy
Zoe
Theo
Lincoln
Gogo - Olivia - you only need to pay if she's going to be playing soccer with the big kids. Let me know offline what you think.

All babies welcome (and no need to pay if they are just crawling around, etc).

I'll take care of ordering the pizzas. I'll probably get 7 pies (8 slices each, some cut in half for the kids), assuming 2 parents and at least one kiddo per family. Does that sound right? Then I'll have a total amount due per person for the soccer and pizza.

Good luck with the snow (again!),
Gabi
