Quick notes about whats up to brainstorm fun tactics for next week:

-The "hand" still has John grappled and he just rolled a 15 to escape (still his turn)

-The eye has what seems to be an instant death attack (I evaded it with a natural 20) but it cannot attack without line of sight (and cannot see through walls)

-The henchmen are pushovers and should not be explicitly focused on unless they are in the way (for ref, they did 1 damage to John with a successful attack, the hand did 28)

-There is only one (traditional) entrance to this room

-The bar is incredibly full of rowdy young upstarts downstairs

-The guy we met with bailed

-There's a table still left in the room we could do something funny with, as well as some brandy

I have a few clarifications to make though.

There are a few exits I didn't make earlier.

You are in a room off to the side in the tavern. When we meet next time

, I'll have a grid paper prepared that has the full map of the area from what you've seen.
