Hi all,
Sunday is our last day of the 2008 Spring Season, and we have a jam-
packed day planned, so please read carefully.
SESSION STARTS AT 10 AM!
;o)
Points will begin being awarded at 10 sharp, latecomers will not be
able to make up points. I will be registering kids starting at 9:30,
so please be a few minutes early and make sure your little rugger has
the opportunity to compete in all events.
(There are no registration fees, everything is covered by your season
contributions.)
BRING YOUR CAMERAS!
We'll be taking team photos, so full Dragons kit please.
HELP!
1. I need a folding table to hold all the medals and trophies, if
anyone has one they can bring please let me know so I can check that
off.
2. I have a ton to carry so if anyone has a portable grill they can
bring let me know and that's one less thing for me to worry about.
3. We have 30 rugby palls to pump up so be prepared to join in the
fun. If anyone has a foot pump, that would be extreeeemely useful...
4. I'll need volunteers to score events, we'll be splitting up into at
least two age grades and everyone needs to get through as many events
as possible in the time allotted. Please volunteer on the day to score
an event.
PICNIC!
We'll be providing hotdogs and cold drinks, anything else is up to
you. The session will probably go late to allow us to hand out medals,
prizes and trophies. We'll start grilling around 12, and everyone is
welcome, so bring a friend or three.
This is our family day to please bring your friends and let's have a
good old-fashioned Brooklyn day in the park!
Cheers all! And don't forget you can watch some excellent
international rugby FOR FREE this weekend at Baker Field, NYRC is
attending USA Selects vs. England Counties Friday June 6th at Baker
Field, Columbia University @ 7 pm.
