from HobbyKing with 3 gyros and successfully installed it in my 4th generation Towel. Took a bit of tweaking and a V-Tail mixer to function. I also had to reverse the orientation of the stabilizer, so not the direction of flight side faces the rear of the wing. Tried every other wiring option but one thing or the other was reversed.
Flight characteristics:
Serious instant constant over compensation. Turned down the gyros about 20% and it was a little better.
Overall it prevents you from any extreme moves and definitely counteracts w d and turbulence. Where I fly it's always windy, usually prevailing from the south. So flying down field I have a tail wind and up he field a heavy head wind. The gyro's really help with it. Got my longest flight to date and even hand caught the plane for a landing. I've seen Breck do this at last years Maker's Faire but never managed it myself,
until today.
So overall for $15 from HK + $5 for the mixer it's pretty sweet. Also FYI the HK stabilizer is built around an Arduino so those inclined could hack the software to better suit the Towel. If anyone takes this on please post the script for the community.
I'm posting a couple pics of my current setup here as well.
