Subject: Autoreply: Waitlisting New Subsidized Orders | Please Share Our Call for Gift Cards! RE: Delivery Details for North Brookline (1589) and (1590)

**This is an automated message.**

We need grocery gift card donations to keep the subsidy program going! Please spread the word. If you or someone you know would be willing to gather gift card donations for MAB, donate gift cards, or plan a gift card drive, please reach out to mutualaidbroo...@gmail.com. We are hopeful that we will receive enough gift cards to keep the program going at least temporarily. If not, we will be placing folks on the waitlist and referring to other community resources. Click here for more details.

We have several dropoff points for gift card donations or we can have a volunteer come pick them up. Please email us if you would like to donate and we will direct you to your closest dropoff point or put you in touch with a pickup volunteer. If you are unable to get to a store to buy gift card(s), we can put you in touch with a buying volunteer (reimbursement should be made out directly to your individual volunteer). MAB's Community Fund is currently unable to accept cash, check, or Venmo.

If you have received help from MAB and want to talk, please reach out (mutualaid...@gmail.com or call 617-651-1468 to leave a message and we will return your call). We’re planning a meeting to hear from you as a group, or we’re happy to talk one on one.

If you are reaching out about a new subsidized grocery order, we will add you to our waitlist and contact you when/if we have the funds to fill the order. We are hoping to pull folks off the waitlist but that depends on how many gift card donations we receive. In the meantime, please reach out to other Brookline food resources (Thrives, Pantry, Community Fridge, Springwell, Meals on Wheels, Brookline Center, etc.) Your patience is appreciated! Subsidy amounts: $100 (1-2 person household) and $200 (3+ person household) on a case by case basis.

MAB Delivery's hours for the week are:

Monday: 9am - 2pm (deadline for Friday delivery orders - no guaranteed weekend deliveries)

Tuesday: emergencies only (routine inquiries will be answered on Wednesday)

Wednesday: 11am - 4pm (deadline for Sunday delivery orders - no guaranteed weekend deliveries)

Thursday: 2pm - 7pm (deadline for Monday delivery orders)

Friday: 9am - 1pm

Saturday: emergencies only (routine inquiries will be answered on Monday)

Sunday: emergencies only (routine inquiries will be answered on Monday)

For Clients:

Deliveries are subject to subsidy and volunteer availability, so please be flexible and understanding. Only out-of-food or out-of-medication requests are considered emergencies. We ask that you plan ahead and request 2 weeks' worth of food per delivery so that our volunteers can help as many people as possible!

All routine inquiries will be answered by a volunteer within 48 hours, excepting off days. We will get in touch when we have a volunteer driver for your delivery.

For Volunteers:

If you would like to help out as a volunteer driver (shops in-store, contactless deliveries), volunteer library driver (contactless pickups and deliveries), or volunteer dispatcher (remote), please reach out to us at mutualaidbroo...@gmail.com and cc mutualaidbrook...@gmail.com. Dispatchers should be google-fluent (gmail, sheets, and voice).
