Team meeting!

Hello everybody,

As many of you know, we always have a team meeting at the beginning of the fall season to officially introduce rookies to the club, discuss administrative stuff, and so forth. This year the team meeting will be on Wednesday, September 15th at 7 pm. It will be held in the presentation hall at St. John Vianney (located on the corner of Gebhardt and Calhoun Rd.). It is unsure of exactly how long the meeting will last, but expect to be there for about an hour. All players and parents are expected to be there as it is important that everyone gets filled in on information about the upcoming season and to express any questions or concerns they may have. This brings me to another point--the meeting is also a great way for new recruits to get a feel for how things are going to run with our club, and to simply meet other teammates. With that, all of us should be recruiting as much as we can as soon as school starts! If anyone does find someone who's interested in playing with us, you should mention this meeting and that she should bring a parent with her. So, I think I covered everything, but if you have any questions you can ask the coaches, or my dad (Mike Landwehr, his contact info is down below). He is a member of our new administrative board, and he knows all the meeting details if you have questions. I feel like we got an email about the administrative board a long time ago, but I can't remember, so I felt like I should mention it...

P.S. Be sure to park in the big front parking lot off of Calhoun at St. John's. There is a parking lot in the back, but don't park there because the doors are always locked on that side of the school.

Mainly for Kelly and Emily...but everyone else should be recruiting.

 

I think to go along with the recruiting thing, it would be a good idea for the presidents (or anyone that wants to help them) to make flyers to put up around school with the meeting time and place. We've done this before and they seem to work a little but this will be good for rookies to have a for sure way to get information instead of feeling like they are randomly showing up to practice.
