The time of the game got switched to 9am due to Flight Camp, which is from 11-4 on Sunday at Nagawaukee. There is a $25 fee to attend. I highly encourage everyone to go. Talk to Kaisee with further questions.
Anyways, please be at the field at 7:45am. If you need a ride, do not hesitate to ask one of the upperclassmen. A $3 parking fee may or may not be charged so be prepared.
Go to bed early...and set yourself a few alarms!

For this past game we bought subs from Subway. Because we would prefer to not use team money for this, for those of you who were not able to bring a food item to share, could you please send $10 to practice on Monday (tomorrow) and give to Kelly Brusky.
Thank you so much! GREAT game, Bruisers!!
GO BRUISERS!

Our next game to determine if we will be going to the Midwest tournament will be against DSHA. It is scheduled for Sunday October 24 at 11am at Dretzka Park. Please arrive at the field by 9:45am. This is a huge game so make sure you get plenty of sleep the night before and eat a good breakfast! This week's practice is very important so make sure you are there and focused. Get pumpeeddddd!!

First off, I want to say what an amazing job you have all done. From players to coaches to parents (especially parents), I'm so glad to see how cohesive this club is and was glad to be apart of it. Don't ever lose sight of that.
For your match against DSHA, remember one thing. Any day you get to play rugby is a great day!!! You are all blessed with the intelligence, skill, and passion to play such a marvelous game; one that few around the world get to experience.
DO NOT cheapen yourselves by worrying about the name of DSHA or Midwest playoffs or anything else. Simply focus on the fact that on that day you get to play rugby, the game you love, and you get to play it with the girls you love. If you focus on those two things, no one can beat you. Regardless of the score, you can walk off that field after your match knowing you were fortunate enough to play such a great game with such great people.
That said, also don't cheapen it by NOT giving your VERY BEST!!! You owe it to your coaches, your parents, your school, your community; but most importantly YOURSELVES to HAVE FUN and PLAY TO YOUR VERY BEST!!!
Good luck ladies. Take care.
Austin

I agree with Austin..
Go on the field and give it your all, when you get off the field, you should not be saying or thinking 'I should have done this' or 'I could have done that' If you're on the field, make sure to play your heart out! Rugby is played with your heart, and with your heart you can do just about anything.
I just have to say that I'M SO PROUD OF YOU LADIES!
This game is just another game, show them what you got.
also for Austin you forgot me mention that they have the 'swagger of a champion'!

The DSHA game on Sunday scheduled for 11am got changed to a 10:30am kickoff. Please be ready to warm up no later than 9:15am. If you cannot be there at that time due to rides, please let an upperclassmen know.
Also, there is an optional practice tomorrow (Friday) from 4-6pm if you would like to come.
Thanks,
Kelly Brusky
