Follow the guide below to change the default location of the Weather widget.

One of the best aspects of Samsung Weather is that you can see updates on the weather at all times, specific to your current location, without having to change your location manually when you travel. You can also check the weather in other areas even if you're far away, giving you an idea of the weather in cities you plan on visiting or where your loved ones live.
I know it's only a weather app and 99% of you all dont care about this kind of stuff, but speaking as someone in the design field, this makes me so happy. The devs in charge of had a lot of creative freedom here and it shows.
I have the widget showing when scrolling with the bezel. By default, the widget view shows a summary of the weather. When you tap on this screen, it opens the primary AccuWeather app. By 'Menu Key', I assume you mean the three dots that show on certain screens. This is not an option on either the summary weather widget view, or the primary AccuWeather app screens.
When I tap on the weather widget and the Accuweather app opens, there are no menu dots. I have scrolled from top to bottom; honestly there is no menu option. That was the first thing I looked for when I encountered the issue. I am familiar with the menu dots that appear on some apps, but the Accuweather app does not have that on my watch, honest!
The only way you can change the C-F is to go to APPS on your phone. Then scroll down to weather. Next, to the Weather app you will see a gear for settings * touch the gear and make the change under unit.
On your lock screen double tap the floating clock. It will show various widgets. Weather, calendar, music etc. if weather is there go to Settings of the phone and search for widgets. From there you can unselect Weather or any other widgets. That will solve the problem
ClimaCell is one of the best weather apps for not only Samsung but other Android phones out there. The app offers detailed minute-by-minute forecasts, rain and snow alerts, air quality maps, and wind speeds.

You can now access Google's slick Weather app without having to first open the Google or News & Weather apps. However, you will have to use Google to access the weather the old-fashioned way one more time, but you'll have the option to place a...
OnePlus has it too I think. It looks slightly different than the pictures posted (the top part) but I believe thats just how it evolved? Kinda surprised that not every single phone comes with it. Unless they are samsung, then they would have made their own. But just not having a weather app seems odd.
Side note here from a former tv weatherman... who had a software company(LiveStrike)... there is a radar app (Paid) that is hands down the best in the android world. PYKL3 ... doesn't speak to the problem above, and yes I have the same issue on my Samsung Note.
On the a broader note regarding weather information, as Corrie says accuwether is not very accurate. My latest pet hate at the moment is weather information. This is mostly due to me taking on a allotment this year so when the weather is worng I do get my knickers in a twist.
@Shawn I've been curious of late as to how the weather reporting has been so off. It seems to be getting worse as time go's on, I would assume that with the advancements of technology and science things would be getting better. I remember as a child watching the weather before I went to bed and that would genuinely be the case the next day. Now evey weather station/app/site will be telling me it's sunny when it's pouring down out side. As a former weather man your thoughts?
I realise Im going off on one a bit, but Brits do like to moan about the weather, and I appear to be getting a case of premature old man syndrome. No word of a lie I keep yelling at kids to stay of my lawn, and loose the plot when a ball comes over the fence, a converation between me and my wife last week.
Ive found that it updates, and displays information faster than other weather apps, I have also found that temperatures vary from app to app, ive even seen some vary as much as 10deg. 1Weather has been one of the more accurate ones. I also like their widget layout.
My weather app stopped working on 1/29. It will not work with a restart of the phone either. A message pops up every few minutes letting me know it stopped working and I can't continue using the phone until I clear the message. Is there an update that I haven't received yet or can I some how stop all the pop-up messages?
Settings > Applications > Application Manager > More (in the upper right-hand corner) > Show System Apps > scroll down to Weather and you should have two of them. Tap the first one, then tap Storage, then tap Clear Data and Clear Cache. Then tap the back button until you're back at the second weather app and repeat the steps, i.e., tap it, then tap Storage, then tap Clear Data and Clear Cache.
That did not seem to work. I have Uninstaller my Weather Channel weather app from my phone. The widget has not been on my screen since it stopped working. I shut off my phone today and then started it back up. It so will not work. I'm am not sure how to update a widget. When I press and hold it does nothing but wait for me to move it to my screen.
