Doesanyone know how to do a factory reset on a Motorola V3m (not the Android version, the older flip phone)? There are online instructions to use the menu to find a factory reset option, but this does not appear to exist in the Verizon version of the O/S. I am thinking there is a code sequence to enter or a button sequence to press while powering up the phone. I don't see anything online.

I also need to reset a Verizon Razr V3m, but my Settings & Tools menu does not have a n Initial Setup option, or anything else that seems to provide access to a Factory Reset option. is there any other way to reset this phone?

Casey Did Tanya ever respond? My Droid Maxx sas it is locked. When I get it to the little droid guy nothing happens when I press the volume key up and down or on after the other. when I choose factory i just get the little red Motorola circle and nothing. I will not that I found out AFTER i googles it that never uninstall from the google store. That is the incident that happened just before the droid hit the fan. Any thoughts other than explosives?

Unfortunately, Tanya has not responded. It is possible you may need to reflash your stock ROM. If the screen is working, then it is most likely not hardware. Instead the software looks to be the culprit. (hopepfully)

My razor is not responding to the hard reboot. No response at all when holding the down volume then the power button too. Also no response when holding the volume button up + down + power. I want to throw my phone very badly. Please help

I learned a few things in the process. I prefer the app Super Backup to other options, primarily because it has one interface from which to handle the backups of all the various areas (contacts, SMS, call records, apps and app data, etc.).

I reset motorola razr mobile to factory settings but i unable to restore it. the mobile turns black at all. after showing the logo it is unresponsive. no apps at all why?what can i do to restore?please help
