Have you ever thought that you could chat with your computer just like you would with a human being? Well, you can. Ultra Hal can chat about anything you want. Ultra Hal has a huge conversational database so Hal will never get boring. Ultra Hal also has the ability to learn. Ultra Hal will learn from every sentence that you say, and after a while of chatting Hal will develop a similar personality to yours. If you wish, you may try chatting with our web version of Ultra Hal. Remember that the web version will not speak out loud to you and you will have to type to it. However, the Windows version of Hal does speak out loud to you and you are able to speak to it. Here is a screen shot of what Hal would look like on your computer.

Ultra Hal is a great conversationalist and you can have hours of entertainment just chatting with him. But in addition to being a great companion Hal can be an assistant and help increase your productivity. Ultra Hal can remember anything you tell him. Use Hal's memory to remember phone numbers, email addresses, street addresses, appointments, birthdays, or anything else that you can think of. Hal can automatically dial phone numbers for you. Hal can automatically start emails for you. Hal can automatically remind you of important dates.

Ultra Hal can run programs for you and offer help with programs. Hal automatically finds all of the Windows programs you have in your start menu. You can tell him to run any program you have and he will run it. It is much easier then searching through all the folders in the start menu to find the program you want.

Ultra Hal can help you browse the Internet by telling you what your local weather is, telling you the current news, and even performing an Internet search for you. You can also ask Hal the definition of any word.

I have had the same issues. Was working fine pre the latest update.
I have removed and then "retrained" the voice match model but it no longer wakes up when I say "Ok (/) Hey Google"..please advise.

I have the exact same problem on my fold 5. I tried everything, but no matter what I try, I simply can't get the notifications turned on for the google assistant. The option stays grayed out. This is really frustrating when you use google assistant to operate your smart home. Please can someone help.

Same for me. Just bought the S24U and cannot turn the Hey Google feature on. When I try to toggle it on, it takes me through a couple of "I agree" pages, then makes me re-record phrases although the model I trained on the same account in my previous phone and the Google nest at home, then it a message "Something has gone wrong" message appears and the button stays off. Any solution would be appreciated.

For an Android phone that has been out for some months now, not to have one of the most basic Android features as Google Assistant voice activation working is so frustrating. Not even an aknowledgement of the issue? Funny thing is, Bixby seems to work, and you can't change the button press for Google Assistant, only Bixby. Is this issue somehow deliberate?

Bixby is made specifically for Galaxy phones and tablets and has its own special features. However, you're not limited to just Bixby or Google Assistant - you can even set Samsung Internet as a digital assistant. Each assistant is awesome in its own way; keep reading to learn how to swap your assistant.

As amazing as Google Assistant and the other digital assistants are, Bixby is the only one that can access Samsung-exclusive services. For example, Bixby can control your devices in SmartThings and even make purchases in Samsung Pay. It can connect to your Spotify account to make finding songs easier.

If needed, you can tap the Speak icon (the microphone) to interact with Google Assistant. A colored line will appear when Google Assistant is listening. Ask "What can you do?", and then swipe to see a list of things Google Assistant can help with, like adjusting your smart home features.

If you prefer to use Swipe gestures instead of the Navigation bar, you can still call your assistant, such as Google Assistant. Here's what to do, depending on what gesture setting you're using:

I've just upgraded my phone from a S21 ultra to a S24 ultra. The link to google assistant worked realy well on the old phone and it responded quickly. With the new phone when I press the button on the garmin the phone launches assistant quickly but the screen on the garmin can says "conecting to voice assistant" for a long time, 15-20 seconds before the microphone logo comes up. some times this is so long assistant times out on the phone. It used to be almost instant on the old phone, There is no difference if the phone is close or far away.

Thank you for your post. Have you tried removing and re-adding the watch to your Connect app? If it continues to delay the connection to the voice assistant, please reach out to your local Garmin Support team to investigate this for you.

Up until a couple of weeks ago, I'd been using my S22 Ultra to control my Pandora Premium account and it was working great. Both in my Android Auto and directly from Google Assistant on my phone.

I'd say "Play song xyz on Pandora" and assistant would say "Sure - asking Pandora to play xyz"
And sure enough Pandora would open and play the song or if a song was already playing, it would change to the song I asked for.

For unknown reasons - a couple of weeks ago - this stopped working. Both in Android Auto and directly from my phone. Now when i ask to play xyz from Pandora - Pandora opens but just plays whatever song was already playing or the song that was playing last when I closed it. This is happening with song titles and stations.

I've unlinked and re-linked Pandora, uninstalled and reinstalled Pandora etc. To no avail.
I can't get it to control the song or channel anymore. I'm on the latest system update for the S22 Ultra and the latest version of Pandora.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Ensure you have the Copilot app installed already to do this, but otherwise it's as simple as tapping the Copilot option, and then agreeing to the warning pop-up that explains what the digital assistant can access.

It's worth noting that the swipe shortcut in Copilot's case is limited because you just get taken to the app, rather than being able to open an overlay like with other digital assistants. But it still works while in any other app on the phone, so it could still prove useful to you if you need some chatbot-style inspiration at a moment's notice.

Assuming you have Copilot installed, you can dive into the Settings menu and make it easily accessible from anywhere on the device. It doesn't behave in quite the same way as Google Assistant or Bixby, which may put some users off, but it can still prove quite versatile.

If you're new to Copilot, then have a look at our guide on how to generate images in Copilot, so you aren't just stuck with text responses. We can also show you how to use Copilot on iPhone, if you have an Apple phone you want to try the chatbot on as well
