Speccy gives you detailed information on every piece of hardware in your computer. Save time trawling through your computer for stats like CPU, motherboard, RAM, graphics cards and more. See everything laid out for you in one clean interface.

Speccy allows you to save your scan results directly as a snapshot, XML or text file for easy sharing. Handy for making sure your new computer has the right specs, or if tech support need to diagnose an issue with your computer.

I have been using your product for quite a while now and have written tutorials for it as well to show people just how useful it is. I help out very regularly on TSF (TechSupportForum.com) which is a free support site for people, and have been actively getting users to download and run your program for some time now so that it may give us a decent look at their system specs so we are able to help them out. The reason we like the program so much there is the very detailed and organised way in which the information is presented, and the ability for users to upload a snapshot of their PC that can be opened and viewed by any of the staff on their PC's via their version of Speccy.

Your program is a great tool for people to use on such forums, and a great way for your product to be seen and used by a great many people, as tech forums used to like users to upload their .speccy files due to it's gui. For now, using CPU-Z is the second best option, but it is very limited in the details that are outputted and readability. I do understand though that this information is useful to the user though.

First thing I would check is my ram usage using Task Manager. You can open in at least 2 ways: by selecting it from a drop down menu when you right click on your taskbar, or by doing CTRL+ALT+DEL.
Maybe you will find something hogging your ram, Windows 10 can be a pain in this department with Cortana and other processes that can go wild from time to time. There are a ton of tutorials on how to disable these.

Looking at your specs, these are way below par for what I would expect. According to CPU Benchmark your laptop processor has a score of 900 ( =Intel+Pentium+B950+%40+2.10GHz&id=1094) (9 years old) and your studio PC processor is so old it does not appear on CPU benchmark (Xeon Irwindale - a Single Core from 2005?). A Core i5 processor from 5 years ago (the absolute minimum I would be expecting to be running a real-time system with built-in scheduling and database functionality) has a score of 6000 ( =Intel+Core+i5-5675C+%40+3.10GHz&id=2563)

I'm not much of a computer person nor do I pretend to understand all the specs. I rely on others to tell me what the best system is for my needs. For many years I have been using a Dell Precision. A very powerful (and heavy) laptop that also serves as a desktop when connected though it's docking station. It has worked very well for up until this X10 update.

The buzzing/shutdown sounds like a system crash (generally referred to as a "Blue Screen Of Death" or BSOD for short). The cause could be a software issue, such as a driver as you suspect, it could be a hardware problem such as bad RAM, a bad/failing device (including your graphics card), overheating (as you mentioned), a bad CPU, a bad motherboard (the main board that all the components in the computer connect to), or even a bad hard drive or just corrupt system files. At this point it sounds like whatever the issue is, it's gotten worse and is pretty severe. If there is anything important stored on the drive I would absolutely recommend backing it up to some kind of external media or device first such as a burnable CD or DVD, an external hard drive or a USB flash drive just in case the drive itself is the problem because once it fails retrieving your data may be difficult, expensive, or even impossible.

I tried to check my computer specs recently and ran into a snag. It was all about this nonsense of the Meltdown and Spectre chipset. Some reports tended to reference the name of the "chipset" and others the name the "code." I didn't have a decoder ring so I wanted to see if these questions could be answered by different system utilities. I came out thinking that the knowledge and specifics of these profiler tools vary widely.

This computer profiler has some key differences with the others. Most importantly, a list of installed software and version numbers appearing in your web browser is available. The listing displays the name and version number of the software. You can see more information like system size if you mouse over the small blue icon and if the application is running at the moment.

In this description, Belarc was also the only method that produced the System Serial Number for my PC Manufacturer. Sometimes it's easy for your computer manufacturer to find that information, often not.

Once you download the app and find out what your computer parts and components are, you will be able to do the two big tests for measuring your computer speed. You want to have a fast CPU (your processor), and you want to have the fastest Internet that you can afford within reason.

Malwarebytes and Windows defender I did turn off and disable and checked before (I asked this question in the discord and decided to post it here too and that was a recommendation) still the same issue even after redoing it and uninstalling CCleaner (cause I cant find Norton on my PC. Though I did come across this in the CCleaner forums so I assume its related -speccy-detecting-malwarebytes-and-norton-even-though-they-are-uninstalled/)

Knowing the specifications of your equipment is not always easy. Fortunately, we have Speccy, a simple but powerful free application from which it is possible to obtain a detailed and complete view of your computer. Developed by Piriform (CCleaner, Defraggler), Speccy allows you to obtain a report of the hardware and software installed on your PC in a matter of seconds. All this in a simple and intuitive way thanks to its clear interface. Would you like to know why it is essential on any Windows computer?

Speccy is a free app with which you can instantly know all the specifications of your PC. It provides a detailed report on the hardware and software of your computer, showing first the most relevant information (operating system, CPU, RAM, and storage) and then breaking it down into much more detailed categories. Due to its good results, it has managed to surpass rivals such as CPU-Z, HWiNFO, or HWMonitor. Therefore, it is an essential app for any user who needs to collect accurate data about the internal components of their device quickly and easily.

As is usual in programs developed by Piriform, Speccy has an interface designed so that any user, regardless of their computer knowledge, can access information about their system. Each of the components of your computer will appear showing its model, speed, and capacity, as well as other relevant specifications about its hardware.

Speccy is an application that hardly consumes any resources from your operating system. Once installed, it is only necessary to perform a quick analysis to collect the data from your operating system. In a matter of seconds, you will have all the specifications of your computer at your fingertips.

Speccy is a truly useful free program for checking the specifications of your PC. Its clear and intuitive interface, along with its ability to detail all the hardware information of your computer, make it an essential tool to know in detail the ins and outs of your equipment. In addition to this, the possibility of exporting all its data in TXT or XTML format greatly facilitates that people outside your PC can lend you a hand when it comes to solving problems with your computer. Very useful.
