> At approximately 23h40 on 17 October 2008 V 23 reaction officer Chris
> Nkosi received a call from the control room to respond to 136 Robyn
> Street in Jukskei Park.

> The control room informs V 23 that the client family member phoned in
> and reports that there was a break in and that the clients husband was
> shot.

> The vehicle responded to 136 Robyn Street on arrival found that the SAPS
> were also on the scene.

> The SAPS and the reaction officer checked the surrounding of the house
> and found that the suspects had gained access at a back security door
> that was modified for the dogs to enter and exit the house.

> They also noted that the palisade fencing was forced open at the back

> When I arrived at the scene I spoke to a family member who informed me

> He informed me that Mrs X went to sleep at approximately 20h00 she was
> on medication due to the fact she had suffered a stroke.

> Later during the night she woke up and found her husband lying at the
> front door she contacted other family members and tried to inform them
> that her husband had fallen and injured himself.

> When they arrived they found Mr. X lying at the front door they phoned
> the ambulance and then decided to take Mr. X to Olivedale Clinic

> On arrival at the clinic they were informed that Mr. X had already past
