Morning all

 

The subject has reference.

 

In light with my telephone conversation with some of you this morning our intention as Pikitup Randburg depot is:

 

·         To minimise the complaints regarding domestic Round Collected Refuse (RCR).

·         Re-grouping our suburbs to ease our  operation and able ourselves to cover even during unforeseen ops breakdowns (being staff/ fleet)

·         To enable ourselves to re-route our trucks to backup where there’s challenges.

·         Provide effective and efficient refuse removal service, with Costs saving on both staff overtime and fleet costs.

·         To enable to complete our areas early and properly plan for the next day.

·         To enable ourselves to plan preventative maintenance on our fleet on early completion time.

·         We will be introducing changes in some of our suburbs.

·         Pamphlets will be distributed to residents after the meeting (28 Feb latest)  with all of you.

·         NB. should we agree with everything, our intention is to introduce the changes as of Monday, 7 April 2014.

·         Therefore residents will be given the 5 weeks duration to familiarise themselves to the new Schedule.

 

Your outmost support is going to be needed here as always. Obviously during the first weeks we are going to encounter a volume of complaints due to the changes that will be introducing.

 

I therefore request that I have a meeting with you individually to discuss the subject further. For some of you I know the meeting time and date is already confirmed.

 

I will appreciated urgent response on this.
